CWS83. Civil War (Roman Style) Artillery Sword, early
issue. Marked United States 1849 also marked from the Ames MFG
Co. These were issued to troops before the South left the Union,
so many
were in the hands of Southern troops at the start of the Civil War
meaning
both sides ended up using them.......$925. - - - --

Sword, the pommel on this sword has a
Roman
style helmet, the handle is old fluted white Bone. There is no scabbard
