Japanese Tanto - Early 1500s

Japanese early 1500s Tanto with a 10" long blade having both a wide groove and a narrow grove.  It is a signed Yoshimune ubu tang with one hole.  Interesting menuki gilted figure on both tsuka (handle) and saya (scabbard).   Blade has wear, however, not bad considering this is a 1500s blade. The tip does appear to have a slight hit on the very tip.  Blade does not fit all the way in the saya  (most likely some swelling to wooden scabbard) about a 1/8" gap left.  Slit in saya for most likely a Kudzuka, however, the small side knife is lost to time.
