WW2 German Army Officer Sword - Eickhorn

WW2 German Army Officer's Dress Sword. Eickhorn maker mark. This is Eickhorn Model 1693 or Wrangel pattern of the Field Marshall series. The entire sword in the scabbard measures approx 37 inches long from top of handle to bottom of scabbard. The blade itself measures approx 31 inches. A lot of the gilt on the handle is gone which has left the handle in a sort of dull brass patina look. The wire wrap on the handle is loose at the top area but mostly still there, also, there is a crack to the black plastic near the top of one side. The hardware is all original. The scabbard has it's original paint coating but there is wear, flakes, and general  loss of paint. No dings to scabbard. The blade is nice with just a little wear. The tip is sharp and pointy.
