WW2 German Lion Head Sword

WW2 German Army Officer's Sword. This is a P.D. Luneschloss Pattern Army Saber. It has a reduced size lion head pommel and a smaller political style national emblem on the obverse langet. The sword blade measures approx 32 inches. The entire sword in scabbard measures approx 38 inches. The sword is in overall good shape. The wire wrapped handle is completely intact. The blade is straight and fits nicely into the scabbard. All original hardware. There is one ruby eye missing for the lion face. Nice details on the hilt. The crossguard eagle has great details. Original paint on scabbard, general average light wear. Overall a nice sword. Not maker mark, none of this pattern/type had a maker mark, however is identified as a P.D. Luneschloss pattern. A hard to find pattern.
