Japanese Collapsible Battle Helmet - 1700s-1800s

Japanese collapsible battle helmet. Circa 1700s-1800s. This metal plate collapsible Battle Helmet is made of metal bands held together by cords, and held in place by a rod that turns in an upper helmet band. There is a rope tie chin cord still inside of this battle helmet. Average wear for age. A decent example of a more common battle helmet from the late samuri era.
