WW2 Japanese Good Luck Flag - Captured

WW2 Japanese good luck flag (hinomaru yosegaki) which was a traditional gift for Japanese soldiers deployed during military engagements, most notably during WW2. The flag is the national flag which was typically signed by friends and family with short messages and wishing the soldier victory and good luck. This particular flag also has GI signatures as well, most likely from the GIs that captured the flag. Unusal to find with GI signatures with platoon info (3rd Platoon) and campaigns listed. This is a consignment item that I am listing for a fellow collector. Size approx 27 inches X 28 inches. Worn and used condition.
