R.A.M.C.   (Royal Army Medical Corps) This is the scarce special issue Mons Star dated 1914 only.  All others of this service star are dated 1914-1915, Only the stars from the Battle of Mons are dated with just the 1914 date.........$175.

BM-269.  WWII Era British Red Cross Society Medal -- This is a fine condition enamled medal, it is also named and numbered on the back -- the top bar shows it was issued for "Proficiency in Red Cross First Aid"......$120.

BM-267.  British WW-1 War Service Medal in sterling silver... to a KIA Soldier who was  Killed in Action-- This medal is named on the rim  (( 2522626 Dvr.  L. Scott C.F.A.))  He was with the 79th Battery, Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force, and was Killed in Action while serving with the British in combat during WW1. --  With this medal are  a document he filled out in 1918, plus his oath of service signed in 1918 and a paper from the Minister of National Defence about his being awarded  this medal apon his death and also  the original  box (crushed) but all there, it is made out to him and matches all the information on the medal...An interesting  KIA item from WW1.....$210.

  British WW-1 Death or Honor Plaque for British Soldiers Killed in Action During World War One... The Government would send these to the family along with the soldiers medals. These plaques are made of bronze and  are marked  around  the rim  " He died for Freedom and Honor ",  each plaque also has the soldiers name on it.... A sheet of reserch  information about this soldier, will be sent along with the plaque: name on this one is Private Michael Sheridan  He was a Private with the 1st Bn of the Royal Munster Fusillers - He died on 21 March 1918 at age 36.......$195.

BM-260.  British WW-1 Death or Honor Plack for British Soldiers Killed in Action... The Government would send these to the family along with the soldiers medals. These placks are made of bronze and  are marked  around  the rim  " He died for Freedom and Honovr ",  each plack also has the soldiers name on it.... With this one is paper work about this soldier & the original mailer in which it was sent to the family. Information about this soldier: name  Private Victor Thomas Hinxman  355641, 1st/9th Bn Hampshire Regiment - He died November 1918 at age 21.......$225.
