Chism, he served with the
5th Division 3ed Army, during World War I... This Group contains his
numbered & named Purple Heart with cluster showing he was wounded
twice, his WW1 Victory medal with bars for two of the battles he fought
in, his WW-1 issue patch, his 5th Division Society card and the
original end taps from the issue boxs that his medals came in (the end
tab from the Purple Heart has the matching numbers to the Purple Heart
medal and is dated amoung the first release in 1933, late 1932 early
1933 was amoung the first Purple Heart medals issued to Spanish
American War & WW-1 troops who had received the Purple Heart
certificate during those Wars......$900.
