CWP-17.  Civil War CDV of Henry Parkhurst Cooke.  He enlisted on 5-27-1861 as a 1st Sergeant and fought in the First Battle of Bull Run.  On 5-27-1861 he mustered into "B" company 2nd New Jersey Infantry.  He was promoted to 2nd Lieut and one 1-21-1862 he was promoted to 1st Lieut, then on 2-12-1863 he was promoted to Captain.  On 10-22-1863 he was discharged so he could be commissioned into the US Volunteers Adjutant Generals Dept as a Captain and Asst. Adjutant General.  He resigned his commission on 5-1-1865.  He is pictured in his CDV pose in a book and Civil War unites & Officers........$275.
